Why?
There is an easy answer to the quesiton of course. To survive! I want to make money and stay alive doing something I like doing. So since I like writing code and I like turbocharged cars, this site seems to make all the sense in the world to me.

There is something else that makes sense to me as well. That's community and interaction within communities. Clubs, groups, and web sites that center around a particular make or model of car or motorcycle is a community. Within each of these communities is a knowledge base of how to do things and where to get the the stuff to do things with.

The "WHERE" is what Turbine Dump is focusing on. "WHERE" can I get that turbo? "WHERE" do I get that Intercooler?

"WHERE!!!!????"

A lot of the things are pretty easy to find. Yahoo, Google, and even Amazon are capable of pulling up tons of stuff. Even ebay, though you don't know if what you're getting is worth it's weight in salt until you have it in your grubby mits. But sometimes it's kinda tough to find some of the specifics. Hopefully, instead of droning through page after page of google returns where 18g or HX35 may be mentioned on the page but has nothing to do with turbos, we can specifically find what it you're looking for easily and quickly.

And on top of that, generate your own search agent that will continue to search the system for you and let you know when "that something" shows up. In other words, you don't have to pop back in here every couple of days to see if somebody is finally selling an 18g compressor housing. Pretty simple stuff really.

So use it and enjoy. And please contact me for anything related to the site. Errors, problems, suggestions, whatever. If we can get this working well, we can end up with something special that can generate more services for the various communities and their interests.

Turbine Dump
